About Me

Welcome - I am delighted you are here!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master of Science in Counseling and a Bachelor of Science in Youth and Family Ministries from Cairn University. These degrees have provided me with a holistic understanding of mental health, family systems, and the integration of faith and values, enabling me to offer comprehensive and thoughtful support.

As a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and Certified Youth Mental Health Specialist (CYMHS), I am committed to professional growth and delivering specialized care tailored to the needs of youth and their families. My practice is enriched by a dedication to ongoing education, research, and a faith-centered approach for clients seeking spiritual integration in their therapeutic journey.

My clinical expertise involves working with but not limited to children, adolescents, and college students, utilizing effective methods such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness training, attachment theory, and various counseling techniques. With a focus on compassion, warmth, and patience, I address a wide range of issues, including depression, anxiety, shame, grief, spirituality, core beliefs, and self-worth. Through thorough assessment and diagnosis, I will help you set realistic and attainable goals while offering unwavering support as you work toward achieving them.

My mission is to help each client feel empowered, valued, and equipped to navigate life’s challenges, with the option of incorporating their faith as a source of strength and guidance. If you are seeking a devoted counselor to guide you on your path to emotional well-being and personal growth, contact me today. “What is counseling, and is it right for me?"

Counseling is a professional service that supports individuals, couples, families, or groups in addressing emotional, psychological, and relational challenges. It provides a confidential, supportive space where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors without judgment. The goal is to improve mental health and overall well-being through collaborative work that helps clients identify issues, set goals, and develop strategies for growth.

People seek counseling for many reasons, including life transitions, relationship challenges, grief or loss, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, or struggles with identity. Counseling may be a good option if you're finding it harder to manage daily life or if negative thoughts and emotions are increasingly affecting how you view yourself, your relationships, work, or other aspects of your life.
